Graham Culp and Noah Hahn establish Meriwether, identifying a unique opportunity to build a niche resort development platform emerging from the 2008 financial crisis.

Meriwether acquires its first project, the Villas of Mirada, a 30-unit residential community adjacent to the Ritz-Carlton Rancho Mirage.
2012
Meriwether merges with the Atira Group, adding Garrett Simon and Gerry Engle, and creating a pre-eminent firm.
2013
Meriwether acquires the final major parcel next to the downtown Telluride gondola to develop Telluride Transfer, a 30+ residence project that set and continues to set the highest sales prices per foot in Telluride.

Meriwether is hired by the Lehman Brothers estate to stabilize, reimagine and reposition several large-scale master planned communities including Moonlight Basin, Boot Ranch and the former Canyon Ranch in Costa Rica.

Meriwether partners with multiple developers to execute on Frost Creek, Victory Ranch, and Wildhorse Meadows totaling more than1,000 residential units across nearly 10,000 acres.
2014
Meriwether acquired The Shores, a 55-unit townhome development project located the Blue River outside of Breckenridge.
2015
Meriwether acquires the Griffin Club and undergoes a complete physical and market repositioning. Over a five-year period, Meriwether turned over more than 1,500 members and increased EBITDA by more than 4x.
2016
Working collaboratively with Michael Schwab and Big Sky Partners, Meriwether begins pursuing surf and wellness concepts and completes a draft business plan for a surf-basin centered private resort community.
2016-2017
Meriwether enters the hotel sector with The Hideaway, The Getaway, and the Ingleside Inn in Carmel by the Sea and Palm Springs. Each property is fully redeveloped, rebranded, and elevated into top boutique hotels in their markets.
2019
Meriwether Companies formally partners with Michael Schwab to acquire 400 acres in La Quinta, California, which will ultimately become Coral Mountain Desert Club. Michael concurrently joins Meriwether Companies as a Partner.

Meriwether acquires and fully repositions Morgan Run in Rancho Santa Fe/San Diego into La Valle Coastal Club.

Meriwether partners with the Sanchez Navarro family, one of Cabo’s most influential landowners, to re-envision Cabo Real, a 1,000-acre community in Cabo’s tourist corridor anchored by a new man-made wave basin.
