Transfer Telluride Telluride, Colorado
In the fall of 2013, Meriwether acquired a parcel of land in downtown Telluride known as the Four Corners. Purchased from the Zoline family, whose patriarch is the founder of Telluride Ski Resort, the property is located on one of the most iconic sites in Telluride, kitty corner from the gondola, and is effectively the last infill development parcel in town. In partnership with Telluride Arts and the Zoline Family, Meriwether embarked on a redevelopment project christened Telluride Transfer, and broke ground on the first phase of development in Winter 2015. Completed in December of 2019, the mixed-use development included luxury residences, affordable housing, commercial space and the ongoing restoration of the iconic Transfer Warehouse; turning it into a public asset and cultural epicenter for the arts, events and community gatherings. Project sales to date have totaled nearly $70 million and the project will deliver a projected investor IRR of over 20%.
